September 19, 2020 - I decanted for an hour around 11am. Then double decanted around 4 before getting the osso bucco ready.

Agree. It’s surprisingly light colored. Hints of strawberries in the nose. On the palate, it’s abit of dark berries. Abit of leather. Very fine tannins. A tad peppery. Good structure.

This is drinking incredible right now. With the osso bucco it was perfect!

July 23, 2020 - Light strawberry and camphor on the nose. On the palate, cherry and blackberry with notes of leather and earthy spices on the medium to long finish, with light tannins and good acidity. This is ready to drink, although it is early in its drinking window and it may still improve; the Cellartracker drinking window looks about right. This is excellent, and it was a good value at a little over $50.

    July 6, 2020 - Excellent Sangiovese.....
It’s in a perfect drinking window right now...
Full on delicious cherry, herbal, spice with a roundness
and lushness and sweetness you don’t often find in a Brunello...
    Just fantastic....

June 10, 2020 - Popped'n poured - this just keeps getting better and better. The 2010 Brunellos are just outstanding, and are definitely hitting their stride, and the Lisini in particular. It will be interesting to see if '13, '15, and '16 will be as good, but it will be a tough challenge.
