October 15, 2019 - ....Finally drinking well. Prior bottles very hot / tannins overpowered, not resolved. Didn't think it would come around but i was wrong. Estimate ~3 years of good drinking.

April 28, 2018 - Not a fan. Maybe past its prime or the pairing (Blue Cheese Burgers). Faded fruit, still taste the oak & heat/bitter finish.

October 30, 2017 - Need a nice Zin to go with our Chilie and this one certainly lived up to the need. Nice dark red. Nice spice and berry fruit. Was hard to put down.

June 13, 2016 - Oh my! Drinking very well right now. Held off opening based on prior comments and then decanted. Still hot on first taste (had to try before decanting!) but then opened beautifully. Nose of chocolate with blackberry, black raspberry and nutmeg/spice. Balanced and smooth tannins resolve to medium finish with chocolate again evident. Would love to find a case right now at this price point.
