November 3, 2023 - This is definitely a style that has fallen out of favor. Massively ripe berries with medicinal/menthol edges. Still alive but no structure or acid. Probably past prime.
September 5, 2022 - A nose of dark fruits and spice, dark purple in color. A bold full bodied Rhone blend, with black cherry, raspberry, cherry liquor, cola and spices on finish. Drinking great now. www.winelx.com

April 20, 2021 - Nice wine, although a little more jammy and fruit forward than I typically prefer. Considering that it is 70% Grenache, my comment is seemingly a bit misplaced, as I would have expected much more than 8% Syrah in a wine I describe this way. Well, this is not really a science, just trying to verbalize a memory.
March 31, 2021 - Flabby and over the hill. No acidity and tannins are faded. Can't stand up to a steak. Drink now with chocolate for dessert.
December 24, 2020 - Pnp. No bricking, no sediment. Still lots of bright fruit. Tannins still present. Calmed down from initial tasting years previous. Went well with richness of crab cakes and roast duck. Very alive tonight.
June 28, 2020 - Top wine of the 4 "Tour of CA Wines" tasting. Excellent balance and fully integrated. A good time to drink.
April 12, 2020 - very nice.
April 8, 2020 - Good stuff and fully open for business, although there is a hint of the almost 16% alcohol in the finish.
March 29, 2020 - Overall enjoyable but on the down slope....
