    March 3, 2023 - Very nice sweetness with fruit oak cones through and lite leather. And licorice Alcohol is a bit high wish it were a little less pronounced Finish is long but taste fades a bit. Tannins were firm and could be felt. Acidity is well balanced against the fruit and oak taste. Very nice enjoyable wish I had bought more. Excellent QPR.

    October 23, 2022 - Light cherry and strawberry on the nose. On the palate this shows signs of age, although it's not fading; along with Sangiovese cherry this shows notes of strawberry, cranberry, leather, and orange peel on the medium to long finish, with light tannins and well-balanced acidity. This was an excellent value at a little over $50.

    May 7, 2022 - Possibly 1 year past peak, but smooth and very enjoyable; Tannins galore. 7/5-2022 [Philipson Wine] {home}

    April 14, 2022 - The Vigna Spuntali 2010 is entering its primary drinking window. The colour is showing signs of mature cause it is light red and is medium bodied and elegant. On the palate it is showing red fruits, spices and some signs of oak. Very elegant and complex but a little short. Can be cellared some more years but I think it is not necessary to do so. Really nice experience and a good companion for Italian food.
