November 3, 2020 - Meh- not my cup of tea. May have been an off bottle? There was a lot of cherry cola, and leather notes. I also caught a wiff of the cork on this one. Blew off after and hour. Drank over two nights. Was slightly better second night. To be frank, I was expecting much more from this bottling, having been very please with past Rhône blends from Villa Creek. Maybe Cab just isn’t their thing. Or I had a tainted bottle. Not a complete miss, but I’d expect a 2012 to have more spirit and presence. This had ok flavor and finish disappeared in less than 10 seconds. Head scratching....

July 15, 2020 - Splash decanted thru a screen because of the plastic cap and drank over next 2 hours. Minimal sediment No detailed notes. Tart cranberry with hints of cherry and strawberry. Mild spice and some earthiness. Very good with no pretense. Perfect with steak and baked potatoes.

December 19, 2017 - The flavors coming through are clearly a central coast cab, not North coast. Too light and not deep enough cabernet notes for my liking. I've really enjoyed their syrah and avenger, but this cabernet reminds me of light cabs I have tasted out of santa ynez valley. Not a bad drink, just nothing special imo.
