August 12, 2020 - Very nice Rocks syrah. Paired with amazing everything from scratch beef tacos. Definite Rocks funk on the nose, a bit cloudy at this stage but a brooding earthiness on the palate. Medium finish. Will be drinking the other bottles throughout this fall and winter, not sure this will gain much more from this point forward but certainly drinking very nicely.

April 25, 2020 - I opened this yesterday and drank 3/4. Vacu-vinned the portion that I'm recording today.
Strong aromas of red fruit (Strawberry) with meat, pepper further in the background. Medium-plus body with a very smooth texture. Flavors of strawberry, pepper, and anise. Medium finish. Medium acidity.1 person found this helpful Comment -

September 15, 2019 - This wine is amazing. Decanted 3.5 hours and still had a lot of structure. This wine has a lot of life ahead. Bright red berries with green olive, river rock, and a bit of coffee. Well balanced in all regards. Served with Italian bean soup.
