April 8, 2018 - Very very hot, lot of alcohol on nose and mouth which only partially diminishes after day 1. I can taste orange peel, cinnamon and dried strawberries. The high acidity and spirity carachter reminds me more of a bourbon than of a port. Guess this kind of colheita has its own audience but at this price point I'd definitely not buy again.

December 9, 2017 - Autumn orange color, good clarity and translucent. Smells are butterscotch, maple syrup, orange zest, and cinnamon spice. The tastes are menthol, honey, orange zest, sweet spices, and hints of bourbon.

February 12, 2016 - Tapped with my Pungo (like a Coravin, but better). Nose of strawberries, with the alcohol giving it a definite Robitussen character to the nose. The palate is complex, with the strawberries and medium sweetness balanced well with the strong acidity and the alcohol heat. This would probably show better with a 4-6 hour decant, but I'm going to drink this over the next couple of weeks through the Pungo, so it won't change much. I like it a lot.

September 22, 2015 - 30 Year Old Tawny Ports (Portvinsklubben 1981): Fresh and delicious tawny style with impressions of orange peel, vanilla and a touch of plum fruit.
A very charming wine that is easy to drink.
    Bottled in 2014.
