March 14, 2024 - Well I'm really enjoying this. It's got plenty of body and decent length- unmistakably Syrah. At £18, a real bargain.

March 2, 2024 - Nice balance and plenty of life left. But rather one dimensional and uninteresting.

February 4, 2024 - Fresh with refined fruit although there is not much depth of flavour. It has plenty of life left but I can't help thinking that it may have showed better earlier in its life.

January 21, 2024 - Well made quaffable Crozes made from single varietal of Syrah, aged for 12 months in oak, 20% new. Deep ruby colour. Medium+ intensity aroma of prunes, fried bacon, smoke, earth, leather, dried rose petals, incense hints. Medium+ body, juicy and supple with mildly smoky and earthy prune flavours, medium+ acidity and medium+ fine tannins. Would love a bit more complexity and deeper flavours, however still it’s a pleasant traditional Northern Rhone Syrah.

January 18, 2024 - Simple but pure syrah fruit, quite light. Fresh, well balanced. Very nice wine with plenty of life left. Lots of sediment so decanting required.
