July 17, 2019 - A nose of citrus and some spice, medium golden in color. A medium to full bodied white, with lemon, peach, some acidity and spice on finish, still good not drink now. www.winelx.com

June 23, 2019 - I have really been looking forward to drinking this but felt that I waited too long to taste. This is a very nice example of a well made California style chardonnay. On the nose it opens up with meyer lemons and hints of butter and oak. The palate is rich, silky, but fades rather quickly. The acidity is still there but you can tell that it is fading. Wish I had drank this maybe a year or two ago and it would have been singing and possibly a point higher.

Overall, this wine reinforces to me that California chardonnay should be drank rather young with not much ageing.

March 29, 2019 - Oak and mild citrus on the nose, a little more lemon curd and Meyer lemon on the nose than bright citrus. Nice body, slightly silky and the acidity has dropped off substantially. A lot of oak and really doesn’t have much vibrancy or bright citrus notes left at all. Ripe apricot, lemon, but a lot of oak on this one. Not very interesting or complex, but a better version of a typical Oaked CA Chardonnay so in that regard it is worth having. This would probably be better 2-3 years from vintage as I remember having more acidity and brightness when tasted at the winery and closer to release. Would drink now.
