January 17, 2024 - Side by side Rouget Echezeaux 13 blind - CLB clearly the upper hand vs a very reduced Rouget that was entirely unyielding and simply hard work. The CLB Eche 13 while displaying some gorgeous core of cherry fruit and mineral poise felt a touch young / closed at this stage and similar to my experience with Reignots 13 from a year or so back it's probably a wine I would put back in the cellar for another 5 years to let the structure soften.

October 26, 2022 - Drinking very well indeed, both juicy, rich, chalky and very elegant; the wines from this adress can be oaky, not this one, everything is in place. Drinking window wide open.

June 29, 2020 - A very nice wine, but it does not deliver what one could expect for the price. Very balanced, focused and fresh, it has a rather light body, and maybe a slight excess of oak. The finish is also a bit short. Nice wine, but very bad value for money.
