  August 31, 2023 - 86 doesn't mean a bad wine. it just does not do the work to convince you at this stage. Rather, the wine requires you to put in the work. If you do that something interesting but not necessarily pleasant can be discovered. Biggest concern: acidity is not well integrated, somewhat sharp, bitter, and pungent. Air and time help, though, but I'd play that by ear.

  February 22, 2022 - Red fruit (cherry, raspberry), spice, slight violet, earth, good acidity. Feels like it’s starting to enter its drinking window. Good acidity. Lingering finish.

  January 6, 2017 - Finish a tad short, but oh so young. Good underlying fruit. was a pop and pour into a decanter. Uncork it a few hours before if you can. Good QPR and quality for its level.
