April 10, 2020 - bumping this up a couple points on this bottle. similar notes as before with some more earth and mineral elements now. Everything really working well together. Just delicious. Took 60 minutes in the decanter to really get going. This is an absolute super star at its price point

March 7, 2020 - This was insanely good. I didn't keep any notes, but for my palate, it was at the perfect place between fruit and maturity for a bourgogne. I wish I had bought more. I have only had four wines from this producer, but I am yet to have a Heresztyn-Mazzini wine that I don't like.

February 10, 2020 - Wow. What value at $20. Maybe even best $20 I have ever purchased. Decanted for 15 minutes. Great nose, fruit is present with smooth tannins. After drinking this, I went back and cleaned out the retailer I bought it from.
Day 2 and 3 weren't quite as good but day 1 was worth it.

January 31, 2020 - opened on day of delivery to experiment with bottle shock. Quite muted the first 45 minutes but really blossomed after that. red fruit, dried florals, spice, and starting to show a bit of more mature notes of dried meat. fine grain tannin and mod acid. could go for a couple more years if you want it to. very nice qpr. guess bottle shock isnt real or this bottle will be unreal after some rest
