January 13, 2024 - Very good value for price of £54 - had it with Korean meal. Opened about 2 hours before drinking Red currant on the nose develops into much more complex oaky, leathery nose. Acid is just right - loads of fruits - dark, deep - on the palate.

October 6, 2023 - Nice colour. Darker than I expected with bricking.
The nose was a winner. It reminded me of the 2013 Les Suchots Domaine de Bellene. Complex ripe sweet fruit on the nose, forest floor. Maybe it is the secondary and tertiary notes that has come with age.
Restrained elegance on the palate. Not the biggest or most complex. Good minerality. Finishes with spicy notes.
Medium/light bodied.
Velvety tannins.
I think in the context of price paid for this wine this did not disappoint.
Not a bottle I would keep for longer or buy again though because the palate did not live up to the nose - if you are reading this buy to experience the wonderful bouquet.
Bought from The Wine Society £54.
Paired with Chinese roast duck.
