September 16, 2023 - Decanted for one hour. Nose of blackberry, currant, milk chocolate, black licorice and spice. Ripe black fruit, chocolate, licorice, spice and fine tannins on the palate. Layered finish with good length. Full bodied. Still young and will improve with age. Revisit in 3-5 years. Served with hickory smoked, reverse seared porterhouse steaks and garlic herb butter.
February 8, 2023 - Double decanted for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Started consuming about one hour later during a 3 hours span with my friend Christopher.
The nose is fantastic and pure, bold body, a lot going on here, still too much fruit at this point. Now it will qualify as the classic Napa fruit bomb but the finish is really nice.
This wine is not at a good phace now, the best days are 2-5 years down the road but having 6 bottles I have it a try and it was a good experience.
93+ HOLD.

December 24, 2022 - Decanted 3 hours
Medium color, great blue fruit, opened up nicely but since there were four of us, we only had one glass each from this maker. Smooth tannins with a long finish
December 17, 2022 - Decanted 2+ hours, bold and color deep purple
Blackberry and cherry , very smooth beautiful tannins and a great finish
Have two bottles left and we plan to drink them for a very special occasion
August 6, 2022 - Great celebratory wine. Powerful, rich dark berries, chocolate and tobacco. This is one of my favorites, but it is not subtle.
April 14, 2022 - Delicious. Long decant needed, but patience was rewarded. Dark fruits, super soft tannins. A+.
March 6, 2021 - I liked it better on my birthday last August and perhaps it needed more than the 90 minute decanting. Still, excellent powerful wine, with blackberry-cherry well integrated, but a bit more tannins than I recalled from the past and not the perfect smooth finish noted previously. I do look forward to the 12 bottles I will continue to age.
January 28, 2021 - blackberries, blueberries blue florals, dark cherries, black currant, brown spice, cedar, chocolate, dried earthy undertones and licorice
fruit dominant, nice intensity, comes around about 3-4 hour mark. pricey a bit. i'd rather buy their single vineyards
August 8, 2020 - The 4 hour decanting was very necessary, but what an incredible experience that will be even more enjoyable with time. Huge powerful wine, with bursts of blackberry and cherry, which admittedly is my style. Excellent long, smooth finish made this nearly perfect.
