    January 17, 2017 - In a good drinking window and as noted by other reviewers, at a good price point. Completely enjoyable. But, really does take time to open up, and even then it's more like the 'Ocean Spray' than a taste that is distinctive to the terrior. I'd read reviews suggesting that this was an excellent example of the power of the region, and while I agree that it has some aspects of a unique flavor, it didn't overwhelm us at the level that I'd expected. Still, an excellent buy, and fun to taste.

    January 16, 2017 - Very light depth of color showing a ruby rim with minimal extraction. Very aromatic and clean on the nose with cranberry and cherry, lots of floral notes, some mineralogy, minimal oak. On the palate fresh acidity, a moderate amount of flesh on the mid palate, moderate amount of very fine tannins. Balanced wine with short length, good aromatic intensity that fades on the palate, good complexity. Drink now. Good value for its style.

    July 31, 2016 - Similar to my tasting note in March. Give this time in the glass... 30 min to an hour minimum. It will start to open up. While a lean and feminine example of Burg... It is great for the price. Think of it as a watered down glass of Ocean Spray Cran-Apple juice that has been fermented with the terroir from Burgundy. In a word... Tart.

    March 26, 2016 - Needs some more time in the bottle. However, if you must open it now, give it time in the glass. After about 30 minutes, it starts to open up. A feminine expression of Pinot with tart cranberry and red raspberry laced with subtle mineral and crushed rocks.
