June 26, 2023 - Quite enjoyable, but also very forward and lots of deep rich fruit. Didn't show a ton of complexity on this particular evening, but tasty.
June 24, 2023 - A sort of sour fruits with ‘earthiness’ nose - there isn’t quite tomato paste, but there’s a suggestion.
On the palate it’s much of the same, but with the more - unmistakable? - grip of Nebbiolo. And, true to form for the grape to me, that grip grows the more air it receives.
An absolute bargain of a wine. Sadly, Barolo prices seem to only be heading in one direction, but this is a quality wine at a good price.
September 12, 2022 - Opened this last night. Deep, dark red. Clingy. Nice nose of sweet cherries and saddle leather, very pretty. Has really come alive on the palate, with big, luscious flavors that fill the mouth. Unctious and sexy, with piquant fruit. Lengthy finish. Showing very well right now, at its peak, no danger of decline anytime soon. 5-13-17-8: 93/100.
August 18, 2022 - Un barolo intense, un peu disjoint, sur les arômes classique de fleurs, goudron, corsé et acide. Rien à voir avec ma bouteille bu il y a 2 ans... :(

May 21, 2022 - Not the most elegant style of Barolo, but really enjoyable nevertheless. Open nose with flowers and eucalyptus. Quite full bodied palate with firm tannins, high acidity, nice ripe berries, and a fine complexity with emerging tertiary aromas of leather and spice. Long and complex, yet quite an “easy drinking” Barolo.

March 5, 2022 - Beautiful fragrant nose. Sweet fruit, blackberry, bay leaf. Good palate. Lot's of Barolo grip. Starts with sweet juicy fruit and then the tannins take over to leave a long, tasty finish.
November 17, 2021 - Lovely garnet color. No sign of decline. Nose is expressive with woodsy aromas and saddle leather and light cherry in the nose. Nice palate impression, medium-bodied, quite full and rich, mouth-coating, with a long, medium-dry finish. This wine is very well-balanced, and very harmonious. Drinking well, but with many years of life ahead. Has it peaked? Not sure. If it hasn't, it is certainly doing a nice impression of it. 5-13-16-9: 93/100.
May 4, 2021 - In der Nase rote Kirsche, Erdbeere, rote Johannisbeere, etwas Tabak, etwas Kaffee, süße Würznoten, leichte Anklänge von getrockneten Rosen.
Am Gaumen in der Anmutung frisch und vollmundig, roter Fruchtkern, üppiges Extrakt, mineralische Würze, feinkörniges und für Nebiolo sehr freundliches Tannin. Der Wein ist charmant, zugänglich und wird dabei kein bisschen breit oder plump, hat aber natürlich auch nicht die Tiefe eines echten Lagen-Barolo. Eher modern als traditionell, ein gefälliger Alltags-Barolo oder für den Einstieg in die Materie. 14.5% Alkohol.
