January 7, 2018 - An hour in the decanter metamorphosed this Chave beauty into a grade A++ experience. Fragrant with raspberry and oh so silky on the palate, an utter pleasure to consume. Only purchased 3 of the 07, 6 of the 05 but a dozen of the '10. Marcel "Rocks!?!" My reference for 100 for Hermitage is the 1990 La Chapelle, I still have an unbroken case of 12, purchased en primeur. To get the Chave magic at an everyday(ish!) price is utterly breathtaking.
