    June 24, 2018 - Decanted 1 hour. Just terrific.

August 30, 2017 - This is the total package- color, nose and spectacular palate. Approaching perfect and has the backbone to go on and possibly even slightly improve for 10-15 years. The palate is very intense but not sugary- perhaps it's the mountain fruit. Loads of graphite. Blackberry and stone powder as well.

December 31, 2014 - Opens beautifully after a few hours in the decanter. Laser focused with terrific structure and some residual tannins and acidity providing freshness. Violets on the nose with a refined and integrated palate of blackberry, raspberry and graphite. Great expression of Mount Veeder Cab.

June 30, 2014 - Infanticide. This is hard as nails, rough tannins and heat on the palate. Gorgeous nose, hinting of many good things to come. Shouldn't be touched for another 5 years.

January 9, 2014 - Hold for at least another 5-10 yrs. Nose is clearly 100 pts but the tannins will need time to soften. A bit hard at the moment but clearly an outstanding wine. The 2002 is much more enjoyable at this point.
