December 15, 2015 - Past due, but still drinking very well. Tasted best right after opening. After an hour of decant it started to fade. Very enjoyable older CDP.

August 10, 2014 - Loved this brambly and dark old Cdp. Provided graciously by the team at RPM Steak, this was a treat to try. I only had a glass or two while it was still chilly, but there was a lot to like about this wine. Dark cherries, florals, and earth. Yum.

August 9, 2014 - Earthy, brambly, with mature black fruit. At a good stage in its evolution, but this bottle is direct from the Mont-Olivet cellars.

October 18, 2010 - Dinner at Le Pichet with Dan Kravitz (Seattle, WA, USA): Dark soy, roasted tomato, clearly cracking up and moving towards a cooked wine. Bad luck.

February 21, 2009 - Just beautiful older CNP, unfortunately marred by slight cork taint, which particularly showed in the nose. At first opening this had great longue bouche - great thrusty delineated finish. Lots of layered saddle leather, tobacco leaf, and delineation. Certainly one of the best older CNPs I've had. I think the cork did strip it out as the eve went on, but despite that it held together in a very drinkable fashion. Really impressive.
