August 20, 2022 - Wonderful vintage of this wine! It needs a good hour or two open for the tannins to soften and then it shows delicious violet/dark cherry fruit with a velvety texture and a classically dry and dusty Bandol finish. There are lovely accents of garrigue spice and sweet tobacco. Hard to stop drinking it.

February 8, 2021 - Really fun to drink - pulled cork about 4 hours before dinner and gave it an additional decant for around one hour prior to serving. Was great - big flavors, open tannins and great, juicy acidity. Perfect with some grilled ribeyes. Love the aromatics. I’ll wait 2-3 years before trying another one but drinking well w/ some air.

January 8, 2021 - 2010 Château Pradeaux Bandol, alc 14.5%. Tight and dense. Some smokiness and bramble. Dark fruits. Bit of mint? Young
    Great with chili

November 10, 2020 - Just a superb wine that's loaded with black fruits and fresh herbs. It's young but fully integrated and beautifully balanced with rich flavors but a taut, grippy, salty/mineral-fresh finish. Velvety and long with very enticing notes of liquid granite and garrigue spices. This will last for decades but it's gorgeous now. One of the best wines for aging in the price-point of under $50.

October 30, 2020 - Wanted to check in on this. Decanted but aired <30 minutes. Tight aromas of herbs, plums, spices and minerals. The palate was a bit more expressive with just ripe plums, herbs, cherries, spices, minerals, bark and earth. Prominent tannins on midpalate and finish. Nice lingering finish. Full bodied. This is still way too young but shows great promise. 90+ for now given its tightness but can see this going up 3-4 more points as it improves with more cellar time. Open the next bottle in 5 years.

March 23, 2020 - This is just an extraordinary wine considering the price. Obviously a fantastic vintage, this thickly-textured yet light-on-its feet wine is full-bodied with rich flavors of blackberry fruit, tobacco and garrigue spices. Ethereal and silky-fine with excellent grip on the finish sporting firm dusty tannins and superb complexity with notes of coal dust and Mediterranean warmth and salinity. Perfect now but this will still go a long way. Brilliant Mourvedre for $35.
