August 8, 2015 - Enjoyed with burgers and Brussels sprouts. We drank this crazy quickly.

June 3, 2015 - Drank over two days. This is really good but not quite what I remembered it being. Perhaps it just needed more air ass it was better on day 2. Not surprising for a Corrison wine. Still for 2011, there is nice dark cherry fruit with some cassis. A hint of tobacco. Nice complexity. Not a big wine, but not shy either. Went well with food.

March 14, 2015 - A stop to taste at Corison (Corison Winery): This took me by surprise. Its really good. Sells for around $55. Just the right amount of ripeness. Drinks like a CA version of a Loire Cab Franc in that the nose has black cherries, green tobacco but very slight, cigar tobacco and slight spice notes. Great texture. Ripe on the plate with nothing green or under ripe. Long finish. I bought a couple. I never would have expected this in 2011, but it shows that one needs to taste the wine before making a judgment.
