Medium red color. Tart cherry, medicinal (stronger with air), cranberry, touch of forest floor.
On palate, sweet cherry, black cherry, cranberry - bigger than nose suggested. This was delicious with a grilled Tuna Steak. While "big" for a Pinot, I would not confuse this with a syrah. Medium body, medium acidity and long finish. Would buy again. -

May 28, 2019 - Drinks great now, should hold and even improve over 2 more years. Nice balance of burgundian complexity mixed with baked cherry fruit and an underlying smokiness throughout. Finish is a bit lively but it smoothed out after an hour.
