March 2, 2023 - Dinner with Iggy and Friends (Le Brasserie, New York): Dull maturing red. Perfumed aromas of mint and strawberry fruit. Much lighter than the Roty with a superb thread of soil. Gently sweet yet tart red fruit, blood orange, spice, light herbs, and faded tannins. Seductive wine with tremendous finesse. The wine of the evening. Thank you Michael!

January 2, 2020 - Extracted style with smoke, coffee beans, oak, sweet red currant, and spice bomb. Incredibly rich and deep on the palate with grand structure and intensity. It opened up beautifully in the glass. It is still too young to completely unleash its full potential. Like many old Robert Arnoux’s wine, it is a wine that will age for decades. The best Robert Arnoux RSV in the 90s. 96-97 potential.

December 11, 2018 - Complex aromatics of decaying rose, compost, ginger and earth. It is full, sweet and textured. Fruits flavours are tinged with spice and really fan out on the finish.

March 1, 2018 - Zachys La Paulée "Warm-up" Dinner (Sessions at the Presidio - San Francisco CA): In multi-flight 53/66/90/91/93/95/01 vertical. More black vs red fruit with lots of spice and excellent depth and intensity. Rich fruit, spice, structure in perfect harmony, collaborating on a persistent and very long finish. Great now, this should drink beautifully for decades.

March 1, 2018 - Pre La Paulée Zachy's BYO Dinner (Sessions at The Presidio - SF, CA): In a pretty special 90/91/93 vertical (following 53 and 66). Terrific black cherry and Vosne spice nose. So intense. Similar to the incredible 90, but even a bit more intensity. The palate has so much richness and depth, with wonderful length and freshness, and Vosne spice throughout.
