June 28, 2022 - I continue my habit to each year drink one bottle. Last bottle planned for 2023. This bottle showed nicely. Typical Nebiolo flavours, with a very long, tannic finish. Now, after 11 years in the bottle, this starts to drink very nicely.

June 19, 2020 - I try this wine every year, but for the first year it didn’t improve. Now consistently dry and with a very tannic finish. A classically styled Barbaresco, best with food.

May 1, 2019 - At 8 years of age this is now a rather “masculine” expression of a Barbaresco. Very strong acidity paired with a long, dry and tannic finish. My wife didn’t like it, I found it nice. Further development will be interesting to follow.

February 11, 2019 - Very classic, traditional style Barbaresco. Sweet floral nose, infused with red fruit, very lifted with rustic undertone. Palate is elegant with mid+ length

November 27, 2018 - Last tasted in 4/2017, when the wine was a bit in an off period. Now I liked it better again. In the glass purple with a brownish edge. A very nice nose. On the palate some tertiary aromes are popping up. The finish is still dry and tannic. Overall i like the wine very much, with maybe even a bit more improvement in the next 1 or 2 years.

January 15, 2016 - Not bad for an Italian wine not super light
    Tannin at finish
    Smooth and a little sweet

April 15, 2015 - Slight brettanomyces, but good fruit with some untypical cassis notes. Traditional barbaresco with medium to full body.
