January 3, 2021 - Outstanding Syrah that has probably peaked. Rich, dark color and silky texture with great blackberry, mocha complexity and finish.

January 24, 2018 - There hasn't been a Ty wine I haven't thoroughly enjoyed and this 2013 Syrah is no exception. The first this that grabs my attention it the dark, purple stain on the cork and the color of the juice inside does disappoint. The wine was pulled from my wine cellar which is currently at 60 degrees Fahrenheit and is surprisingly very fragrant on initial PNP. I am getting coffee, blackberry and mocha on the nose and the same on the palate with a mild pepper spice as anticipated with this varietal and the finish is smooth and silky.
