October 15, 2019 - On initial pour, at cellar temperature, this showed a beguiling complexity of flavors and smells on the palate and nose. Quite nice. A couple of hours in, it began to show highly oxidative notes that dominated the palate. Played with the serving temperature a bit, but it never got back to a good place. Fortunately most of the bottle was gone by the point it went sideways.

February 27, 2019 - White Rhone blends are an acquired taste, and one which I have not fully acquired. This aside, the 2013 Queen's Road White delivers high quality goodness, from the initial whiff through the medium plus finish. Consistent with previous note, holding form well.

February 21, 2018 - Put it out as a starter wine for OTB Night. Mistake: deep, extracted color, pretty strong and did not show well without food. Seems Marsanne-intense. No one even asked what they were drinking.
