February 4, 2024 - Past experience with Sheridan had me expecting a fantastic wine. Good colour and fruity bouquet. Forward fruit flavours were delicious but the mid-palate and finish were definitely flawed - medicinal, short, quite unpleasant. My wife said I guess we have to drink it leaning towards pouring it down the drain. Possibly a flawed bottle but the initial flavours in the glass were quite good. A bit of a mystery and very disappointing. I hope the remaining bottles in the cellar turn out better.

October 29, 2023 - PNP, but was showing wonderful secondary flavors within an hour in the glass. Fantastic value. Good window.

April 5, 2022 - Sheridan likes to go big! 10 years is barely enough to tame this beast, but it’s drinking really well, now; old world style, without overpowering fruit. I’m smelling berry compote and gravel, tasting earthy blackberry and getting a long, subtle finish.

March 16, 2022 - A bit of oak and herbs on the nose. Opulent and layered as it opened up in the glass to reveal currant and dark cherry flavors. Rich and full bodied with restrained tannins. This wine has aged very well and am sad it was my last one!

December 26, 2021 - We have never had a Cabernet from Washington, so we have nothing to compare to.
We read the comment about lack of fruit, but I think that is simply the style of this specific wineries' wine--it was not made to be an over the top fruit bomb.
We opened and poured immediately. It was fine as a PnP, but I thought it balanced out and improved a bit after a half hour.
We agree that it is good quality for the price, and also agree that it is ready to drink now and probably will not improve further with further aging.
