December 18, 2023 - Decanted for 30min and followed over the course of an evening with steak, mushrooms, potatoes.

Lovely nose of dried deep reds, leather, cigar box. Medium full palate with a nice lift from acidity. Red florals, true cherry, dried tobacco, clay. Finish shows some nice bright red raspberry and also a sweet kiss of oak.

This is in such a good spot right now. Plenty of complexity, beautiful integration, nice freshness. Washington makes such good wines that are so undervalued. I'll happily scoop them up.

    92-93 easy.

September 20, 2021 - Interesting left bank style blend. Fruit is balanced with olive and tobacco notes, integrated tannins. Still plenty of life if you want to hang on for a few more years. Very enjoyable

March 5, 2021 - The dark, succulent nose features blackberry preserve, dark cherry compote, olive tapenade, sage, and black pepper. Full bodied, but elevated with slightly tart juicy acid and long, lean and plus tannin. The beguiling flavor profile is more salty than sweet, with almost no fruit showing: loads of green olive juice is followed by tar, salty black plum, black currant, and blood orange. The nose is absolutely fantastic, but the palate is a bit off.

December 13, 2020 - Continued excellence. Still in its prime

December 26, 2019 - Full bodied cab but not overpowering. Would definitely buy again. Drank with roasted lamb and was perfect. Great deal compared to Napa or Sonoma cabs.
