September 29, 2020 - This is very charming and oh so moreish. Cherry syrup and blood orange with touches of fresh flowers as opposed to the more typical dried. Great purity and balance here - fruit has freshness while taking on some age, tannins are nicely integrated, and acidity has backbone, but not overbearing. Stunning value and just delightful with game.

February 16, 2020 - No formal notes. Warm vintage shines through so that some freshness and elegance is missing. Good to drink now.

November 26, 2019 - Very light-bodied and almost sweet, but quite tasty as a by-itself afternoon wine. Paired fairly well with some brie but would not have been sufficient for the evening's lasagna. Starting to get old, I think -- if you have this I would drink it soon. No hint of heat as in some of the earlier tasting notes.

March 24, 2019 - Delicious. Pale ruby red with a hint of pink. After breathing for an hour it has a stunningly fragrant bouquet - concentrated cherry syrup, violet petals, plum, leading onto a long delicate palate with resolved tannins. Utterly moreish and charming.
