February 16, 2021 - deep dark berry and plum palate. No tannin. Turning a corner, but not too sharply. At pop and pour not too in my face. Rather subdued and softer acid.
Day 2 and again soft and forward.
Day 3 still drinking well. Light sediment.

July 3, 2020 - From memory. Now this one was a very positive surprise. After finding it quite promising in 2016/17, the 2-3 bottle since then have all been a bit of a let down. Now, with 11/2h decant it just felt so much more inviting and ready. Dark flowers, ripe dark cherries, and hint of sweet tobacco. Quite nicely balanced, perhaps the acidity was showing a notch more than I would have preferred. Smooth tannins. Liked it a lot, and should improve at least 5-6 years from here. Perhaps longer. 91+p

March 13, 2020 - Great length and wonderful dark cherry and plum notes. Some eucalyptus and licorice but mostly prune. Very layered, very deep. Only flaw perhaps a bit too much heat (15 alc.) but a very good Barbera. Perfect balance of acidity and smooth roundness right now.

October 11, 2019 - Smojy and fruity, very sophisticated and complex, iron, great balance, incredibly long
