May 30, 2017 - This wine is definitely past its drinking window. Used to be excellent, now it is tasting old.

February 4, 2017 - A wide variety at LWS (Gruaud, D'Issan, Rinaldi +++) (Colonial Beverage, Chesterland Ohio): Another reason not to drink these old. Light gold in color. The nose is a bit fleshy. Not a lot of fruit here. Actually unpleasant. On the palate, it was a bit better. Can a wine be flabby and tart at the same time? This one made an attempt. However, it lacked crispness or energy. It was drinkable and less than $10, so it got that going for it. I didn't hear anyone talking about it one way or the other though.

October 29, 2016 - Nice nose, fruity, citrusy, earthy clean stone smells. Grapefruit taste, lengthy finish, clean refreshing, orangy texture. Tangy on the final taste

October 27, 2016 - 3.5 Serious over-performance here with abundant aromas of matchstick, flint, lemon, and hay. Nice palate intensity as well with firm acidity with white peach working its way into the picture. Quite stunning for this ridiculous price. Excellent.

    October 21, 2016 - Clear, watery straw/gold.

Aromatic - powerful, youthful aromas of lime peel, slight grass, earthiness, white flowers, slight apricot, and some white peach.

    Dry, medium bodied. Tart acidity.

Fairly well balanced, a bit aciditic for my tastes.

Moderate flavors of : tropical fruit (guava?), lemon, lime, slight apple, nice floral medium finish with a touch of minerality.

No carbonation as would typically be expected with a vinho verde.

June 4, 2016 - Aging well right now, crowd pleaser, everyone enjoyed it. Mildly sweet, yet crisp and refreshing. Paired well with a strawberry crisp with vanilla ice cream.

March 6, 2016 - Pale yellow in the glass, nose is surprisingly a bit of earth, palate is crisp with bracing acidity, notes of citrus, jasmine, white flowers and a long grapefruit finish.
