March 27, 2019 - Pale Ruby color. Lush aromas of cherry and vanilla on the nose. The wine is smooth on the palate and features spot-on notes typical of SLH Pinot...dark cherry, strawberry, plum, cola, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Medium acid, medium-high alcohol, low-medium tannins. Paired well with baked salmon.
February 17, 2019 - Darker side of pinots but still was predominantly red fruit. Also a little bigger than I would prefer for a pinot but overall was a good wine. Mild earthiness in there as well.

June 18, 2018 - Still holding up well for a 2013 CA PN. Nice vanilla, cola and (soft) tart cherry. High alcohol shows a little, bit not detracting from the overall enjoyment. Solid QPH at $25; buy up at any price under that. Certainly good for a few more years.
February 25, 2018 - Nice pinot,fruity but not overpowering. moderate complexity. Went well with the salmon over sauteed spinach and pine nuts-each made the other better.
December 9, 2017 - This wine lacks the structure and complexity to be a WS92. It is however a medium-bodied fruit forward (cherries, strawberries, vanilla) that hides it's bigger alcohol well (14.5% I think). It's round and smooth and easy to drink. Not very complex.
