May 12, 2019 - Reticent and underwhelming on day 1, but really came alive on day 2 with tremendous fruit and power. I’d expect it to gain in complexity and join the 95+ club in a few years. Decant for several hours if drinking in the near future.

November 1, 2018 - A little disappointed to be honest. I've had wines from Three Twins for years by Myriad/Mike Smith and have loved them. I am usually a big fan of TRB wines too. So expectations were high. But I found the fruit to be a little muted with some green/herbal undertones. Solid back end with the right amount of tannins that allowed it to glide effortlessly over the tongue with a medium length finish. Still excellent. Just not outstanding.

September 1, 2018 - Brought to dinner with friends. Something was off with my palate that evening, whether from food/spice or other factors, so I will refrain from scoring/commenting. However my guests loved it and found it considerably better than the 2013 Turley Ueberroth Zin we also had that same evening.

February 11, 2018 - Dark compelling garnet purple color consisting of ripened black and blueberry fruit, ripened dark current fruit, tobacco and hints of black sweet anise. This is the first time that I have purchased a Cabernet from the Three Twins Vineyard and I am pleasantly surprised, its a pretty good Cab. This won't be the last time for me on this wine, I like it.

Day 2: Tasted next to a Myriad GIII and maybe my enthusiasm for this wine was a point too high - 93 Points and pretty good.
