November 12, 2023 - PnP then drank over 2 days. Notes similar to 2018, lovely nose of red and dark fruits, spice, and some Mourvèdre meat notes. The fruit is medium and the tannins resolved but it remains fresh with a medium long finish. Love the sense of time and place with this wine.

March 4, 2023 - Enjoyed this a bit more than the prior bottle. A purity of fruit with a gamey back end Mourvèdre flavor profile. Tasty

    January 19, 2023 - Coravin pour.
Hard to believe how fruit forward this still is for a 10 yr old wine.
Bramble, spice, dried berry, prunes, earth. Lighter in color, medium in body. Tannins are well integrated.
My wife (tasting blind) struggled to identify the varietal... which is no surprise! An interesting wine - somerhing different.
    Many, many years left.

December 26, 2022 - Just starting to hits its stride and could easily rest another 5 years. Mourvedre's cherry cocoa and cardamom play out over a firm bass of black varieties (Syrah, PS, Alicante Bouschet, etc). There are both broad fruit and linear structural aspects (excellent acidity! and smooth tannin) to the palate and mouthfeel, so it is approaching its peak. Just got better and richer over the course of the evening (from 91 to 93).

September 29, 2022 - PnP. No detailed notes. Semi-opaque ruby. Mostly red berries and spice, but hints of blueberries or maybe plums. Fairly long finish. Drinking well now, but the 2024 end-date seems reasonable.
