April 17, 2019 - Still massive, but fruit was no longer very pleasing. Cola, alcohol and acidity combined for a disjointed mess. Withholding rating in case this was an off bottle, but my score would been in the low-to-mid 80s.

December 23, 2016 - Drank it December 2016. A little sweet and alcoholic. Most likely now past its prime.

April 18, 2015 - Cellared since release...Dark ruby with some browning...raisin tawny ported,
cola tingle, brown sugar, dried potpourri..., big white pepper spice, still tannic, rich and full bodied with some heat....not really balanced....muddy earth mulch....cherries jubilee, coffee .....not pinot pretty at all here....drinks more for an after dinner pinot port....disappointingly seen better days.

March 31, 2015 - One of the best KB pinots I've ever consumed and I've drank a lot of them. Still holding well however I don't think they will improve from here going forward. If you are lucky enough to have any of these left drink them.

    July 9, 2012 - WIML91

Tasted non blind. Opened and served immediately. Followed over about two hours.

Dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of birch, black berries and black cherries. Flavors of plums, black berries and black raspberries. Medium acidity, medium tannins, full bodied. Drink or hold. I'd drink. Ready to go.
