December 17, 2023 - Not sure what happened to this wine but the last 6 bottles were terrible
August 27, 2021 - A far more evolved colour than you’d expect for a wine so young with a medium garnet core and a pale garnet outer edge. Inexpressive, one dimensional floral and herbaceous nose. Thin, primary palate of red fruit and damp herbs. Structurally speaking this wine - unlike good Brunello’s - has no ageing potential. The tannin structure has almost completely resolved and little acidity remains. A huge concern for a such a young wine. An inexpressive and poor representation of Brunello lacking any sense of character. I suspect some bottle variation or poor storage before the wine entered my possession since it’s inexplicable that this wine can be as far removed from Brunello as it is. Not scored on the evidence of this bottle.

July 5, 2020 - On top now - no more tannins to absorb. A bit surprised it does not have more to give. Anyhow a good typical Brunello from a good year with a round and harmonized solid sangiovese taste
April 17, 2020 - Medium tawny. Cherry compote-soaked spicy oak. Acidity provides lift and vibrancy. Appealing and despite the modern oak treatment, it’s easy to find the citrus-tinged cherry and earthy flavors that are hallmarks of Brunello. The tannins are fully resolved.
February 16, 2020 - Fairly big nose and dark color. But, this was way too hot for me. It overpowered the fruit so much that I couldn't get any flavor complexities from it. Even after a day, it still was hot and overpowering. I don't think it will improve with age
August 3, 2019 - This was a real head-scratcher for me. Not sure what to expect from the myriad of scores, a few recent but no details. My bottle was nice but had a definite flavor of stewed plums. Almost like the wine was cooked. Never had it before so can't confirm. Looking at professional reviews they do talk about plum, tobacco, and smoke. No signs bottle cooked, cork fully inserted and color a little on the brick red side, so maybe. Fruit at a minimum, even after 3 to 4 hour decant to see if it just needed air. Never changed. Other 2010 Brunellos I've had didn't have this flavor profile, but then again, I haven't had a huge amount of them. Good luck

April 10, 2016 - Much better than these low scores. Not sure what they are tasting. I am not planning to open any of my 2010 Brunellos any time soon, but was curious about this one given these scores. As expected it took a while to open, but drank well the first night and great the second.
February 2, 2016 - Not really following the mediocre scores offered by others here. This went amazingly well with our spaghetti dinner, and would eagerly seek it out again.
