August 6, 2015 - This has held up amazingly well. You'd never believe it was a 10 year old Sauvignon Blanc, let alone one grown in Los Angeles. Has some of that typical Sauv Blanc acidity and grassiness, but not to the point that you'd mistake it for NZ. Richer in texture and body, with some oak influence, but not overpowering. Still seems to have time left.

December 5, 2011 - Very grassy and herbal on the nose, this wine’s aroma is the epitome of the seductively green side of Sauvignon Blanc. Showing notes of freshly picked oregano, mint, and thyme, this wine also unfolds gorgeous hints of lemon grass, green peppercorns, and lime leaves, all atop a refined mineral base.

Crisp and flawlessly balanced, this wine rushes onto the palate with striking complexity. Lemon peel, lime leaves, white flowers, and orange custard combine with layers upon layers of green bell peppers and peppercorns. With crushed stone minerals that hint at an Old World inspiration, tons of complexity that descends upon the palate simultaneously, and a constantly evolving flavor profile that leads into an nearly never ending finish, this is truly Sauvignon Blanc taken to the level of artistry.

July 5, 2007 - Similar to bottle the night before – maybe a tad less exotic. (90)

July 3, 2007 - (at The Modern – NYC, from 375ml) Straw yellow. Wild nose of citrus, melon and flowers. Medium bodied with good palate persistence. Really compelling wine that is fun to drink – I can not believe the vineyard is located inside LA! Great recommendation from the sommelier. (91)
