May 29, 2023 - Spongy cork, it was at the end of its life.

    Very evolved robe, amber.

Nose of great complexity, on exotic fruits such as mango and passion fruit and a beautiful herbaceous side on verbena and lime blossom. The nose is very dense.

Mouth both fluid and dense. The juice is ample, the delicate acidity in filigree allows to give spring to the wine, on aromas of green tea, saffron and cinnamon. The wine is waxy but sapid. In the second curtain we have an oxidative touch and candied fruits. It is rich and complex, opening on a beautiful honeyed finish where the sugar delicately takes over over a long length whereas until now the wine was rather dry.

Stunning. Complex, sapid, rich and kaleidoscopic all at once.

April 17, 2013 - On nose very intensive honey, honey cone, petrol, dried stone fruits, lychee, some sweet spices. On palate, full bodied with very high but balanced acidity. Very long finish with dried fruits and honey. Drink now. OUTSTANDING!!!

March 26, 2009 - HDH BYO Dinner (Blackbird - Chicago IL): Honeyed aromas with ripe fruit. Lush stone fruit flavors with hints of sweetness near finish. Good spice and sensational minerality give its layers of unfolding flavor. Only nit is the ripeness seems to translate to some heat also emerging at the end.

March 26, 2009 - Hart Davis Hart BYO Dinner (Blackbird): Huge nose of honey. Rich and honeyed on the palate as well. A lovely wine with all sort of mineral and fruit going on.

March 26, 2009 - Hart Davis Hart – BYOB (Blackbird Chicago): Sweet lush with nice spicy edge. Creamy mouthcoating density ripe with some residual sugar. Great complexity with layers of distinct flavors. Nice opposing acidity for density of fruit. I like where this wine is currently. Doubt it improves, but likely holds a few more years. 95
