February 10, 2017 - Initial prominent tannins softened with some air. The result was something quite enjoyable but some air time is really needed.

January 7, 2017 - Nice solid modern Priorat. Red and dark fruit on nose and palete with some sweet vanilla tones from the oak. Pretty straight forward but a good QPR at $20.

December 14, 2016 - A year in the cellar added really improved this.
A decant is a must as there was much sediment.

October 17, 2016 - Interesting how Robert Parker gave it only an 85 while Wine Spectator gave it a 92. I say it is more like a 91. Certainly not a mediocre wine.

May 7, 2016 - Concentrated, jammy red fruit, cherry, plum, and raspberry, with some earthy licorice. Jaminess is balanced out by significant acidity. Really good wine, need to find more. Also there was a lot of sediment in my bottle, clogged up my aerator.

July 14, 2015 - On the pop and pour this showed primary cherry fruit, hot alcohol, and a green streak. However, after a half hour decant this came together nicely with bracing acidity, good tannin structure and mostly sweet red fruits, spice and leather. The green streak disappeared and the 15% alcohol subsided. I'd give this a bit more time in the bottle to integrate more, even though with a decant, it's certainly approachable and rather enjoyable now.

March 7, 2015 - Drinking well now, but in my personal opinion this will develop to another level in a year or two. Sediment noted in the bottle.
50% Garnacha, 25% Carignan, 25% Merlot- 16 months french oak.
Allowed to air for a couple hours. Aromas of jammy red fruits, strawberry, cherry and raspberry with plum and cassis notes laced with vanilla, baking spice, chocolate sauce, earth, cigar box, roses/red flowers and suede that remain slightly hot on the nose.
The palate is medium plus in body and confirms the nose with red fruits leaning on the jammy side, cherry, currant & strawberry with vanilla, flowers, earth, cigar tobacco, oak, baking spices and chocolate that present with medium/medium+ tannins, medium/+ acid and a Medium+ finish.
Fleshy and weighted on the palate with medium+ Alcohol.
