July 15, 2017 - Nice wine and decent value. A good example of an aussie shiraz with more character than most available in UK at that price. Good concentrated dark berry aroma and palate without the sweet/stewed quality so common with wines of "South Eastern Australia". Can taste the lower yield, higher quality fruit. Rich plum, blueberry, black pepper. Spices, tabacco, chocolate. Full bodied and nice finish .

July 1, 2017 - Much better on day 2 (pumped in fridge) than on day one. Lots of dark fruits, some spice and meat. Note bad for $15 / bottle. Best with food.

February 4, 2017 - Dark garnet in the glass. Very aromatic, blueberry, floral and spicy notes. Palate is a lovely balance of tangy acidity and dark fruit: blueberries, cassis. Some steel and pepper in the finish. I am not a fan of big fruity typical Aussie/Cali style wines, and I love this. Interesting to see the enormous range of ratings this wine gets...fruit bomb fans don't like it, savory wine fans find it very nice indeed.

August 24, 2016 - If given a blind tasting, would say this is a typical Cali cab or fruity Pinot = lacks the essence of an Aussie Shiraz. But easily drinkable for the price point on a Wednesday night. Cheers.

    -----------------------------------

Are you game? Are you game? Mets-en! Parfait pour connaitre les shiraz australiens. Buvez et passez au suivant!

Nez: Poivre - Cerises - Caillou
Bouche: Bleuets - Framboises - Poivre

Dégusté le 20 mai 2016 avec un bon steak!
