Community Tasting Notes 5

September 2, 2020 - Dry, but fruit shows up when paired with fruit. Herbal notes add a bit of complexity. Not a high-end Brunello, but representative of the region and style.

April 7, 2017 - Not leaving detailed notes, as had this 5 days ago. Very nice with slow cooked shortrib. Will be one of the shorter lived 2010's as is in a good drinking place right now with tannins nicely integrated after 1 hour decant

June 17, 2016 - Had at a friends house alongside (4) others which included Clos du Mont Olivet Chateauneuf du Pape 2012, Bruna Grimaldi Barolo Camila 2011,Christian Moreau Pere & Fils Chablis 2012, and Naked Chardonnay foreplay.

The WOTN amidst a mediocre showing of mediocre wines. This had dried flavors of dark fruit with a dusty medium length finish of cedar & vanilla. Fruit was there but was muted
