    December 28, 2020 - Farven er flot dyb/mørk granatrød
    .

Ekstra: Le Gode is completely traditionalist in the approach to the production of Brunello with about 3 years of storage on large bottles of Slovenian oak, followed by at least 8-10 months of bottle storage.

September 13, 2020 - Two hour decant, this producer always seems to deliver a solid wine at a good price. 14 people at the party and this was the favorite for a few (10 different wines, 18 bottles)
    Don't remember much detail. 91 - 92

May 9, 2020 - Drank on the beach with a light dinner of a turkey sandwich and some chips. The wine is a translucent reddish purple, initially a little closed, with about 15 minutes of air this developed into a very nice, balanced Brunello. Aromas of fresh and dried cherry. On the palate a nicely balanced wine with fruit, acid and fine tannin. Very nice with and after food.

August 30, 2019 - Dark purple and relatively dark for a Brunello. Some oak, earth and dusty tannins. Approachable and decent, but disappointing for the vintage.

March 13, 2018 - Just light on its feet. Pleasant nose and finish. Little complexity just enough to enjoy. Will not knock you off your socks but you will not mind drinking it either. Needs couple of hours of decanting. Much better the next day! Perfume nose and good finish.

December 29, 2017 - PnP and let sit for 10 minutes or so. Color is purple fading to purple-red and red with a narrow strip of orange at the outer edge. Some hot, volatile blowoff. Aromas of cherry, eucalyptus or menthol, dried cherry, wet dirt, florals, some savory herbs, wet river rock. On the palate fruit, tobacco, pepper, a hint of tomato, leather, balanced tannin and acidity, leaving some fruit and warmth in the back of the mouth at the finish. The wine tastes like it is somewhat high in alcohol. Quite nice. Better with dinner. Softening some after 45-60 minutes though still peppery. Continued to soften, integrate and improve over next 90 minutes until we finished the bottle.

August 7, 2017 - Very nice bottle, but I am glad I checked in on it. It is farther along than many 2010's. Purple in color. The nose is dusty with cherries and some earthy funk that is under control, at least for now. On the palate, the flavors carry thru. Good depth. Nice acidity. Needs food but worked well. Nice finish. A softer wine. I doubt it gets better so might as well drink up.
