May 22, 2023 - Audozed in bottle for 6 hrs. Then drank over 2 hrs. Paired beautifully with hearty, rich, meat-centric dishes at Routier (esp. braised short ribs, and lamb shoulder). Nose was superb - very classic. Palate was quite enjoyable - fruit has receded somewhat, acidity is at least med high, and tannins though finer than when young are still assertive. The wine hides its alcohol quite well. This should drink well for quite a while, likely improving over the next decade or so.
