May 12, 2022 - Solid showing, not as complete or exciting as the 2013 which is a third growth bdx ringer, this has more obvious Merlot and Malbec influence … more plummy, with a slight green voluptuous richness.
Over time became more plummy and a bit flaccid.

January 31, 2021 - Too young, though approachable after a 2 hout decant. Bright nose of blackcurrant, violets, mint, and spice. Elegant and creamy, it lives up to the reputation as the Margaux of New Zealand. Long structured finish with considerable upside in its future.

April 9, 2019 - Wine was frozen during move back to Canada. First impression is good body, deep ruby red color with hints of fruits and grass and forward tannins. Wine is still young and will need to be monitored due to the freezing.

December 12, 2018 - Coravin: still young and fresh; reminds me of Opus One; grape popsicle.
