  May 9, 2017 - Hard to tell what it was. Had to look on their web site to see what grapes were used. Grenache and Mouvèdre.

  February 16, 2016 - How much should oak factor into the flavor of a red? This wine says "not at all" pretty successfully. Decanted 1 hr. ahead off of some sediment, and sampled over the next hour. Pretty cherry color with flashes of orange. Fragrant nose, with plums, flowers, pomegranates. Bright and lifted on the palate, sprightly in body with lively acid balance and juicy flavors. Finishes fast with just a bit of grip. Do you like oak notes in wine? Do you miss them when they're not there? This wine could make you forget your answer to those questions because it's full of flavor and ingratiating just as it is. I am going to lay down a couple of bottles and see what happens to that acidity.

  January 21, 2016 - Delicious. Pristine red fruit and spice characteristics. Few wines are this fun to pop and drink. Needs a good decant though.
