I am still a novice rioja drinker but I like this 12yo reserva! 🎨Clear. Med+ intens garnet
👃🏻Clean. Pronounced aromas mainly tertiair.. Vanille, herbs, smokey. developing.
👅Med+ intensity. Ripe cherry/brambles compote on the back 🍭dry.🍋 Med acidity.🚪Oaked 🍵 smooth tannins med+🥃14%ABV 👕med+ body. 🏁Ok finish. 🏛️Decent complexity.
📉Near the end of its drinking window. 💰A bargain at the vivino price indication
August 20, 2018 - This wine benefited enormously from standing for an hour prior to consumption. A complex fruit driven wine that paired nicely with Thai food.
September 20, 2017 - rounded red fruit, sappy oak, forward tannin. chewy spices, black ashy tempranillo.
October 21, 2016 - No distinctive fruit. Basically a dry red wine with little varietal flavour.

April 8, 2015 - No fruit, no balance, horrible. Appeared flawed so sampled a second bottle immediately. I couldn't believe how bad both were. This is especially disappointing considering previous good experiences with this bodega. Remaining bottles returned to seller.
