  April 8, 2019 - The wine was kind of out of balance today, a moderate note of bitterness among the usual restrained fruit and earth flavors. I don't think the bottle was spoiled; hopefully it's 'just a phase'.

  May 12, 2017 - Tasted at Silver Oak today, nose of red and black cherry fruit, floral notes, same on the palate, big body, slightly fruit forward, showy and delicious after tasting the Cabernet Sauvignons today, rich fruit, small amount of soft tannins suggest a year or two in the cellar will improve it, a little tart on the finish due to the soft tannins. Worth trying for $48.

  January 22, 2017 - Translucent ruby hue with slight amber rim. Cranberry, potpourri, and tea leaves on the nose. Bright, light red fruit on the palate with good acidity. This is a nice feminine expression of Anderson Valley Pinot from the folks at Silver Oak.
