November 2, 2018 - Left over closer from last nights Hermitage tasting.
Was not the star of the show, but I like it.
    Reddish brown semi transparent.
Nose, mix of maple syrup, brown sugar, and molasses.
Sweet with a sour echo, hint of espresso.
This sweetie has lost her teeth, her moves, and all her clothes, what's left, simple syrup with a pleasant after taste.

May 16, 2016 - Unfortunately, I either did not store this well or waited too long. My experience has been that Tokajis last a long time. But this wine had a sour nose and was off-putting in the mouth with just a remnant of sweetness.

August 1, 2006 - Dinner with friends (My house): Old, concentrated Madeira color. Not dead by any means, but definitely old bones. Wonderfully complex nose of orange marmalade, candied tropical fruits, caramelized sugar, prune, and raisin. Malt and chocolate on the palate with persistent, bright, and intense flavors well supported by firm acidity. Something very unclean about the finish that makes drinking this a rather unappealing idea. Unchanged on day two. Hard to attach a meaningful number to, but an enjoyable experience overall.

August 1, 2006 - Awesome nose - florals, honey, grape must, sweet peppers and almonds. Just layers of it and the sweetness could even be sensed. Alas, tasted tired and flat with flat lemon-lime soda notes and a very porous texture. Wait and tried several times but to no avail. Just smelled it for the rest of the evening which was a treat.
