March 9, 2020 - Very pure and lifted on the nose, lovely fruit, spices, hints of green pepper. On the palate juicy, spicy with grippy tannins. Fresh and bright. Nice mineral finish, very good length. Drink or keep. 92-94

July 14, 2015 - From magnum - Mel Ramos limited edition. Dark in colour, purple around the rim. Bright and glowing. Smoky, spicy, red fruit, cherries, spices, incense on the nose - elegant and round. A bit stemmy on the palate, very tight and grippy, more fruit and stuffing than 2011 Felsen I. Mineral, fresh with powerful, slightly drying tannins. Great length. Elegant, precise and well balanced. Needs time - excellent. 93-94+
