March 2, 2022 - Poured into a decanter. Sediment in the bottle.
Nose I got strawberry and cherry. On the palate I also got strawberry and cherry also some oaky notes. Slight tannins and acidity. Medium to long finish.
December 20, 2020 - What a difference a few years in the cellar makes. This is drinking rather nicely right now. It still requires aeration, but not much.

February 1, 2017 - This was quite pleasant for the price. A bit spicy on the palate, a little lightweight in the body, pretty lively but something a bit reckless or strident about it. Simple enough, but there is some quality there - should be better (more settled) after a couple more years.

November 23, 2016 - Dense, sweet fruit and oaky aromas of chocolate and raw coffee beans dominate the nose. Palate is a touch sweeter than I would prefer for a Cab, but not sickeningly so. Palate has medium tannins. Fairly short finish. This is a fun, bold crowd-pleaser, especially if a touch of sweetness is preferred.
September 29, 2016 - Not as enamored with this one as I was with the first bottle, just a bit flatter, still it is well done and pleasing.
